Bleeding Loyalty

Do you want the truth?
Or do you want me to lie
And say we’re fine?
I’m done with that —
You're leading yourself into destruction,
And dragging me down too,
But you don’t see that —
You're too focused on you.

I stitched up your chaos,
Wore your scars like a crown,
Built castles from your wreckage
While you burned them to the ground.

I gave you my loyalty,
You gave me your blame,
I danced in your storm,
You forgot my name.

I watered your desert,
You poisoned my rain,
I carried your demons,
You laughed at my pain.

I bent until breaking,
I swallowed my screams,
You turned every heartbeat
Into shattered dreams.

Do you want the truth?
Or should I paint it in gold,
Wrap it in ribbon,
And do as I’m told?

Because here’s the real —
The raw and the rough:
Loving you taught me
That love isn't enough.

You want the light
But you kill the spark,
You crave devotion
But you tear out the heart.

I’m done lighting matches
In a house made of lies,
Done stitching up wounds
You don’t even realize.

You call it loyalty —
I call it a noose.
You say it's love —
I say it's abuse.

So take your blindfold,
Your pride, your disguise —
I’m saving my soul,
And I’m cutting these ties.

Do you want the truth?
Or do you still want the game?
Because I’m walking away
And I'm leaving your flame.
